Special Delivery

Nana & Papa Inzerello decided in mid November that they didn't want to wait until Christmas to see Mia & Macy, so they made a quick trip to Indiana.  One of the things they brought with them was a bike they had discovered at a garage sale that was perfect for Mia's first two-wheeler.

Papa cleaned it up, Mia picked out a helmet & an obnoxious horn and it was ON.

It was the beginning of a new era.

Meanwhile, Macy enjoyed full access to Mia's tricycle.

Halloween 2012

We had a lot of fun with the girls at Halloween this year.  We got Macy a little cat costume for her first Halloween.  The next day, Mia decided she wanted to be a matching cat.  The frugal side of me wanted her to have a different costume that Macy could grow into in a couple of years, but Mia could not be dissuaded.  The frugal side of me conceded that Macy could just be the same cat in a couple of years & probably wouldn't care or know the difference.  Hence, the adorable twin cats:

We kicked off the festivities at a Halloween party where Mia made an awesome haunted house of which she was very proud.

almost as excited as Nick & I were to take her.  

We couldn't decide who would get to go with her, so we took turns going down one side of the street & then the other while the other handed out candy at home with Macy.
