While Nick was on his way to Austria with Team USA for the Senior World Football Championships, the girls and I celebrated the 4th of July with friends. Although the pictures don't exactly capture the wonder that Mia displayed during this parade, she had a GREAT time. She still talks about it, actually (and I am writing this post months after the event, so that is saying something).
Macy had a great time too, even though it was nap time & the sirens sometimes startled her.
