As we approach our move date, we are slowly checking things off of our DC Bucket List. Nick and I hadn't been to the Air & Space Museum in a very long time, so we took Mia for her first exposure to the origins of flight and space on a very rainy Saturday afternoon.
A kind gentleman offered to take a family picture for us. When we got the camera back, we realized he apparently didn't think Mia was part of the family. He cut her out entirely.
But she was a happy little camper... warm, dry, and with ready access to tons of good people-watching. Here she is waving to the crowds that made it out to see her that day.
Nick enjoyed the take off and landing from Reagan National Airport in the simulator. He always enjoys it in real life too. There are some great views of DC as you come in and out of that airport.
We finally got a picture of the whole family.
