We were lucky enough to have movers take care of everything for us as we transitioned from DC to Indy, but we had a good 24 hours of narrow passageways through box mazes between the time everything was packed up & actually put on the truck. Mia liked to find ways to clog the pathways with her toys whenever possible. Perilous times...
The movers loved our spiral staircase + three stories of stairs down to ground level. At least they were going down with the heavy stuff. I still don't know how Nick ever moved everything up in the first place.
Some of Mia's favorite things right now include swimming, animals, swings, and...swiffering. I can never get any cleaning done if she is awake. She's a great helper though.
While getting things ready for the movers, we found some real gems here and there, like the dead bird in our storage loft (made Nick take care of that one). Mia has never taken a pacifier... ever... until she found one in some of the baby stuff I was organizing. I came around the corner one afternoon to find this:
Never too old to pick up bad habits, I guess.
